Sight:
In the glass this wine has a deep black colour with a purple hue.
Smell:
The wine has a lifted floral perfume that is backed up by characters of cedar, cranberry, spearmint and loganberry with aspects of cinnamon in the background.
Taste:
On the palate the wine is very well balanced and medium bodied with nuances of sour cherry, raspberry and strawberry. The tannins are ripe and soft with a fine, lengthy finish.
Time:
Great drinking now but will benefit from short term cellaring
