The Senses of
"Pb" Shiraz/Cabernet Sauvignon 2006
I have always been fascinated by the way Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon blend so well together in a harmony of the senses.
I originally made Pb in 2002 as my personal blend, however the response it received from my family and friends encouraged me to repeat the blend.
Please enjoy my Private Bottling as intended – with good friends and loved ones.

Sight:
This wine is an intense, opaque brick red colour.
Smell:
The nose shows lifted aromas of cranberry, cedar, coconut, cassis, sandalwood and boysenberry with underlying characters of sage and rosemary.
Taste:
The palate is well balanced, showing prunes and blackberries with nuances of leather, boot polish and creme de menthe.
Time:
This wine is immensely drinkable now but will only be enhanced by 8-10 years cellaring.
