The Clare Valley was settled in the 1950s by Irish, English, Polish and German immigrants. These first settlers planted vines which flourished, with the Clare Valley gaining a reputation for producing the finest wines.
Smell:
Inviting and welcoming nose. Blending at its best. Lifted characters of cranberry, cinnamon and cloves with nuances of spearmint and rosemary.
Taste:
A medium bodied but generous palate of chocolate, mocha, cassis and blackberry. With an underlying current of sage and sandal wood.
Time:
A wine created to be enjoyed upon release and will benefit from short term cellaring.
