Yet more good reviews this time from The Robert Parker South Australian Report. Twelve of our wines have been reviewed and they've done extremely well.

Following yesterday's story that we've been included in Matthew Jukes "exceptional globe-trotter" list, the good news continues as our Lodge Hill Dry Riesling 2010 has come second in Snooth magazine's 'Top Rieslings'.

Hot on the heels of winning a hat trick at the Clare Valley Wine Show, Jim Barry Wines 2012 The Lodge Hill Dry Riesling has swept all before it, last night being acknowledged as the best wine in Australia, at the Dan Murphy’s National Wine Show in Canberra.

It’s the sort of hat trick cricket enthusiast Peter Barry can’t stop cheering about – winning the coveted Trophy for the Best Exhibitor at the Clare Valley Wine Show for the third year in a row.

We are very excited to announce that our 2012 The Lodge Hill Dry Riesling was awarded a gold medal and trophy at the 2012 Rutherglen Wine Show, now in its 124th year. Our wine received 'The Portavin Perpetual Trophy for Best Australian Dry White Table Wine, Riesling, 2012 Vintage, 2011 Vintage and 2010 Vintage and Older.'

We are delighted to have three of our wines in Matthew Jukes '100 Best Australian Wines' for 2012.

We woke up to some very exciting news here at Jim Barry-our 2007 The Armagh Shiraz has been awarded a gold medal at the 2012 Decanter World Wine Awards. This is a wonderful result for a wine that we are very proud to produce. Congratulations to our winemaking team!

We are happy to advise that we have won a further 2 Gold Medals at the Royal Hobart Wine Show 2011.

'Watervale' Riesling won GOLD in the Class 26 Riesling Any Vintage category.

'The Lodge Hill' Shiraz won GOLD in the Class 47 Shiraz 2010 category.

There has been a lot of discussion about vintage 2011 but I believe that vintage in Clare for Riesling was excellent.
